who am I?

Junaid Arif is a Pakistani filmmaker who believes in UPHOLDING THE RIGHT TO ASK QUESTIONS.

Raised in a culture where questioning was discouraged, Junaid’s work challenges societal norms with a mix of comedy and fantasy. His debut short film, "Admission Open," critiques the absurdities of South Asia’s education system.

With four years of experience as an assistant director in advertising, Junaid is now blending fiction and non-fiction while experimenting with innovative visuals and audio.

Currently MFA Candidate Integrated Media Arts at Hunter College, New York.
